In the 8-day Serengeti safari, you will fully explore Serengeti national park getting to see the various wildlife species in the park. Serengeti National Park is among the most visited wildlife destinations in East Africa. It is a lion conservation unit with the highest Lion population in the region. It also has other big cats including leopards and cheetahs. The major predators in Serengeti National Park also include hyenas. These mainly thrive on the many herbivores the park has.

The wildebeest migration also happens in Serengeti and it is a key attraction. The migration is an annual mass movement of the major grazers in the ecosystem searching for fresh pasture. This attracts different kinds of predators, especially the big cats that take advantage of the animal numbers and presence of calves that are easy prey. In the 8-day Serengeti Safari, you will explore all the sectors of Serengeti National Park catching up with the wildebeest migration.

You will enjoy classic game drives and Discovery Journeys here and then head to Ngorongoro Crater, another wildlife wonder. The Ngorongoro crater is the largest unfilled caldera and is home to many wildlife species. The crater itself is a spectacular attraction and wonder and the presence of wildlife makes it even more impressive.

This 8-day Serengeti Safari adventure is ideal for African savanna wildlife enthusiasts. Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Arusha

Day 2: Fly to Serengeti National Park

Breakfast and transfer to Arusha Airport for the flight to Kogatende Airstrip in Serengeti National Park. Meet your driver-guide and start the safari on the way to your hotel. Lunch. Evening safari. Dinner and overnight at Ole Serai Luxury Camp / Lemala Kuria Hills Tented Lodge (drinks inclusive)

Day 3: Wildebeest Migration Safari in Serengeti

After an early morning breakfast you will go out to see the wildebeest migration herds. You will spend the full day on safari in Northern Serengeti. Breakfast and dinner at hotel, picnic lunch in the park. Dinner and overnight at Ole Serai Luxury Camp / Lemala Kuria Hills Tented Lodge (drinks inclusive)

Day 4: Full Day Game drives

You will spend this day exploring northern Seregenti and you will get an opportunity to see wildlife species you missed seeing the previous day. Later return to your lodge/camp for a rest. Day 5: Game drives & Transfer to Central Serengeti

After breakfast, you will have a game drive as you head to Central Serengeti. Have a Picnic lunch in the park and dinner at the hotel. Meals and overnight at Ole Serai Luxury Camp - Turner Springs / Four Seasons Serengeti Lodge

Day 6: Full Day Game Drives - Central Serengeti

Spend this day on Full day safari in Central Serengeti. You will see wildebeest, zebras, big cats among others. Breakfast and dinner at the hotel, picnic lunch in the park. Meals and overnight at Ole Serai Luxury Camp - Turner Springs / Four Seasons Serengeti Lodge

Day 7: Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater

Have Breakfast and drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for the safari inside of the famous crater. Picnic lunch will be served in the crater near a lake. After the safari, drive to a hotel in Karatu town. Dinner at Ngorongoro O'ldeani Mountain Lodge / Gibb's Farm Lodge

Day 8: Departure

Breakfast and drive to Arusha airport (for departure to Zanzibar) or to Kilimanjaro airport (for international departure)
