This 5-day Rwanda Safari epic adventure gives to an opportunity to explore the best of Volcanoes National Park. Start the 5 Days Rwanda Safari with A Kigali City tour and later transfer to Volcanoes National Park for mountain gorilla trekking. Mountain gorillas are the key attraction in the park. You will Hike the forested Virunga Mountains seeing Mountain gorillas in their most preferred habitats. Mountain gorillas live in families that are led by the dominant male gorilla called Silverback. There are 12 fully habituated mountain gorilla families in Volcanoes National Park and you will track one of them.

After the mountain gorilla trekking experience, you will Hike Mount Karisimbi the highest of all the Virunga Mountains. Mount Karisimbi is among the iconic Virunga Mountains and hiking to its summit is very adventurous and rewarding. The mountain is covered with different vegetation zones from the base to its summit. The Mount Karisimbi Hike is a 2-day Hike where on the first day you hike up to near the summit, spend the night in the mountain, and on the second day complete the hike to the summit, have photography moments, and then descend.

Golden monkeys are other incredible primates you will see on this 5-Day Rwanda Safari. Full Tour Package

Day 1: City Tour and Head to Volcanoes National Park

Start your tour by visiting major attractions in Kigali including the Kigali genocide Musuem and local markets and later proceed to Volcanoes National park arriving in the evening.

Day 2: Gorilla tracking and Cultural visit

This is the most anticipated day when you meet one of man's closest primates the mountain gorillas. You will meet them in their most preferred habitants the forested mountains and stay in the presence for hour. Return to your lodge for a rest and can later go for a cultural visit to the gorilla guardian village.

Day 3: Mount Karisimbi Hike

Have breakfast and go for a briefing about mount Karisimbi Hike. The mountain is the highest in the Virunga massif mountains and has a number of wildlife species you will see as you hike. You will will have great views of the greater Virunga massif and hike up to where you will have an overnight.

Day 4: Descend the Mountain and rest

Start early and hike upto the mountain summit and later start descending the mountain arriving early enough for a rest an your lodge.

Day 5: Golden monkey tracking and departure

After breakfast be taken for another briefing about golden monkey tracking after which you will proceed to the forest. You will meet the golden monkeys that are among the rare primate species only living in the Virunga massif. You will see other wildlife species in the park and later return for a transfer back to Kigali for a drop off at the hotel or airport depending on schedule.
