The 7-day Uganda Wildlife safari enables you to explore Uganda's leading primates park and Queen Elizabeth National Park. You start off this adventure in Kibale National Park for chimpanzee trekking. Kibale National Park is popularly known as the primate capital of the world because of its primate diversity. It is home to 13 primate species with chimpanzees having the highest population. Other notable primates here include red-tailed monkeys, colobus monkeys, and vervet monkeys among others. You will have a nature walk to the Bigodi wetlands where you will see some of these primate species and birds.

On the most anticipated day for chimpanzee trekking you will be guided in the forest by ranger guides. Here you will see chimpanzees and other wildlife species in the forest. Later return for a transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park for a safari featuring predator tracking and a boat cruise. You will also have a game drive in the Ishasha sector where you will see various wildlife species. Ishasha is most famous for the tree-climbing lions but also has other animal species like waterbucks, elephants, and the topi among others.

From Ishasha continue on your 7-day Uganda wildlife adventure to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The park is located in southwestern Uganda and is a destination for mountain gorilla trekking. While in Bwindi you will hike the forested mountains to meet the rare mountain gorillas.  End your 7-day Uganda wildlife safari in Lake Mburo National Park for more safari game drives and experiences.

Full Tour Package

Day 1: Transfer to Kibale National Park and Nature Walk

Start the day with an early pick up from your Hotel or airport for a transfer to Kibale National park located in western Uganda. It's take a 5 to 6 hours drive to get there with en route stop overs for photography at places of interest. You will arrive in time for a lunch break and later can go for a nature walk in the Bigodi wetland where you will see a number of primates and birds.

Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking & Head to Queen Elizabeth National Park

You will have breakfast and be taken for a briefing about chimpanzee tracking and then proceed to feb forest. The forest is the primate capital with many other primates including monkeys and a number of birds most of which you will see while on the hike. On return you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park arriving in the evening for a game drive.

Day 3: Game Drives & Boat cruise

After breakfast, you will go for a game drive in Kasenyi where you will see a number of wildlife species. You will also do predator tracking to see lions and learn more about them hearing from a team of expert ranger guides.  You will return to your lodge for a lunch break and later can go for a boat cruise along the Kazinga channel where you will see a number of wildlife including hippos, and crocodiles among others.

Day 4: Game Drive & Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You will have this game drive in the Ishasha sector of the park most famous for the tree climbing lions, the Topi, Elephants, Buffaloes among others wildlife species. You will have a lunch break and later proceed to Bwindi arriving in the evening.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking & Visiting The Community

On this most anticipated day head to the park for a briefing about the do's and don'ts about the gorilla trek. You will be led to the forest amidst sightings of the different wildlife In the forest. Once you get to the gorillas you will be allowed in their presence for an hour taking photos and getting to know more about them. Return and can go for a community visit where you will get to know more about the local people's culture

Day 6: Transfer to Lake Mburo National park & Do Game drive

Leave Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the morning for Lake Mburo National Park arriving in time for lunch and can later go for game drives where you will see animals like giraffes, zebras, among others.

Day 7: Nature Walk and Departure

Go for a nature walk to the salt lick where animals gather to take water. You will then have a game drive as you exit the park for a transfer to Kampala or Entebbe for a drop off at the airport or Hotel depending on schedule.
