Day 1: Arrival and transfer to your hotel
You will be picked up from the airport upon arrival and driven to your hotel for a rest. If you arrive early you will go for birding at Mabamba. Overnight at The Boma Hotel; Half Board
Day 2: Transfer to Kibale National Park (5 to 6 hours’ drive)
After breakfast depart to Kibale National Park the primate capital of the world. It is home to 13 primates including chimpanzees. Get there in time for lunch and later go for a nature walk to the Bigodi Wetland. Dinner and Overnight at Turaco Treetops (Deluxe); Full Board
Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking & Community Visit
Report to the park headquarters for a briefing about the chimpanzee trekking experience. After this, you will be guided into the forested park and hike until you meet the chimpanzees. Spend the afternoon at leisure or go for a visit to the nearby Bigodi community. Dinner and Overnight at Turaco Treetops (Deluxe); Full Board
Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP & Boat Cruise
You will have breakfast and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the twin lakes of Ndali and Kasenda. Later proceed to the park arriving in time for a lunch break. In the afternoon go on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel where you will see other wildlife species including Hippos, elephants, and many more. In the evening you will have a game drive and head back to your lodge. Meals and Overnight at Elephant Hab Lodge (Deluxe); Full Board.
Day 5: Ishasha Sector Game drives and transfers to Bwindi
You will have breakfast at your lodge and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via the Ishasha sector. Here you will have a game drive to see the different wildlife species including elephants, the Topi, and lions if lucky. Have a Lunch break at Savanna Hotel and later proceed to Bwindi for Dinner and Overnight at your lodge. Meals and overnight at Ichumbi Lodge (Standard); Full Board
Day 6: Gorilla trek and transfer to Kisoro
On this most anticipated day head to the park for a briefing about the do's and don'ts about the gorilla trek. You will be led to the forest amidst sightings of the different wildlife in the forest. Once you get to the gorillas you will be allowed in their presence for an hour taking photos and getting to know more about them. Return and transfer to Kisoro for meals and overnight at Mucha Lodge (Deluxe); Full Board
Day 7: Mount Muhabura Hike
You will have breakfast and be transferred to Mount Muhabura base to begin your hiking adventure. The Mountain is among the Virunga Volcanoes that lie along the Uganda, Rwanda, and DRC border. Enjoy the scenic views and later descend the mountain. Meals and overnight at Travelers Rest Kisoro (Standard) / Mucha Lodge (Deluxe); Full Board
Day 8: Batwa Trail & Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
After breakfast, you will be taken to Mgahinga Gorilla Park for the Batwa Trail experience. Closely interact with the Batwa as they take you through their initial ways of life. Later return for a transfer to Volcanoes National Park. Pass via the twin lakes of Bulera and Ruhondo. Later visit the Ellen Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund. Meals and overnight at Classic Lodge (Standard) / Da Vinci Lodge (Deluxe)
Day 9: Golden Monkey Trekking & Cultural Visit
After an early breakfast, you will be taken to the park headquarters for a briefing about the Golden Monkey Trek. Proceed to hike and meet them in the light bamboo forest. On return, you will be taken for a cultural experience at the Gorilla Guardian Village. In the evening you can go for cycling. Meals and overnight at Classic Lodge (Standard) / Da Vinci Lodge (Deluxe)
Day 10: Departure (4 Hours drive)
On this last day, you will be transferred to Kigali getting there in time for a city tour and lunch break. Later be driven to the airport for departure depending on the schedule.
